Garden and Landscape Designer
Amy is a designer and horticulturist passionate about creating gardens and landscapes that serve multiple purposes—beautiful, functional, and deeply connected to their surroundings. She studied Sustainable Garden and Landscape Design at the Eden Project, where she developed a philosophy of “plants with purpose,” blending contemporary design with form, texture, and edible or medicinal benefits. Her approach celebrates natural materials and clean lines while honouring the wider historical landscape, ensuring that each space feels integrated and harmonious. Above all, Amy designs gardens that are for people—places to relax, connect, and create lasting memories, all while enhancing the natural environment and responding thoughtfully to every need of the client and site.
Wayne
Landscape Consultant & Project Manager
Wayne is Umbel’s Landscape Consultant, Project Manager, and Head Landscaper, guiding both clients and our landscaping team through every stage of the installation process. With extensive industry experience and a vast skill set, he offers expert one-to-one consultations to help transform gardens and wider landscapes. Wayne has a particular love for working with stone and timber, creating beautiful, enduring elements in every project. Known for his kind and open approach, his attention to detail and dedication to an exceptional client experience make him an invaluable part of the Umbel team

Team Leader and Garden Landscaper
Jason is a talented Team Leader and Garden Landscaper at Umbel, known for his dedication, skill, and passion for working with stone, which shines through in every project. He is a supportive member of the team, stepping up to lead when Wayne is engaged on other projects. Jason’s personal philosophy of simple living, self-care, and environmental mindfulness is reflected in his work, and he brings a sense of calm, connection, and balance to every space he work on.

Leo is a Landscape Gardener at Umbel, new to the industry but already demonstrating a strong passion and eagerness to learn. He supports the team in a variety of ways while building his skills every day, and his dedication is evident in the quality of his work.
